Lucias Lighting System
Lucias provides a focused light source with a standard E27 or GU10 lamp base to realise a versatile LED lamp which takes advantage of the extensive range of E27 / GU10 light fittings. The system uses our combined power and data technology which allows full independent control of up to 100 LED units on the same electrical circuit with only two conductors.
Lucias lamps incorporate special microprocessor-controlled circuitry to decode our advanced combined power and data system and control high intensity focused single colour white, adjustable colour temperature white, RGB or RGBW LEDs. Up to 100 Lucias LEDs can be connected on a single two conductor cable. Each LED unit is independently controllable despite being on the same cable. Lucias lamps connect to the VP or IP series power units which accept DMX or sACN (option) data.
As with all Glasson products, LEDs are driven with true linear variable current, not PWM, making the system ideal for use in studios and situations where cameras are present.

Lucias lamps Interpret Glasson Electronics combined power and data signal to control a high intensity LED. The system employs a colour mixing lense to give beam widths of 9, 25 or 35 degrees. Lamps are available with a standard E27 or GU10 base greatly simplifying installation. All Glasson Electronics products employ true constant current LED control (not PWM) to realise super smooth fading even at low intensities.

Lucias Lighting System Operation
A system is comprised of a VP or IP series mains driver. These accept universal mains supply and output a DC voltage with the combined power and data signal modulated on the supply. Lucias lamps all wire in parallel from the driver output. Lamps can be wired in strings or can be individually wired and connect back to the power unit outputs using terminals or splitters. Prior to fitting into the installation lamp holder, each lamp is assigned a number using the hand programmer. The number relates to the DMX address and makes a given lamp unique on the system. Note that multiple lamps can be assigned the same number and will then operate from the same DMX Channels. Once installation is complete, each lamp will respond to the assigned DMX channels. The system realises individual control of up to 100 lamps with just a single two conductor cable.
